 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30, 1991 was an American artist and rapper. He is known as his initials, NF that can be written as with the letter IF. Two EPs were issued by Feuerstein, I'm free (2012) [3and an EP self-titled in the year 2014. He signed with Capitol CMG. Mansion was his debut major-label album. It was released March 31st, 2015. The second album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016 and peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many distinctions, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity with Perception in 2017. The album peaked in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the U.S. and was also a top-ten worldwide chart hit. Similar commercial success was also achieved through The Search (2019). Feuerstein said that rap was a means of escape for his family in his early years. He would record songs using a karaoke device, recording both instrumentals and his raps using a single microphone. On the 29th of November 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the song was featured. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in 2012. Feuerstein released his extended work I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012, with production by Profitt. The album's tracklist contained nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive rendition of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist announced that NF was coming out in the near future, however Feuerstein left the label due to disagreements. NF production was postponed. NF did include a track with Shuree William "Only One", on the label's compilation album Move Vol 1 On November 4, 2013, he released "Beautiful Addiction" which was the single. The track again featured an appearance by Profitt and also vocals from Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
