 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (from). She also was a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot series for New Warriors. Vayntrub, was a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and her left antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she quit and obtained an GED. She continued however to earn the Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
