Jessica Marie Alba (American actress and businesswoman) is Jessica Marie Alba. Her first television and movie roles came at the age of 13 in Camp Nowhere (1994), and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). She rose to prominence in the role of lead actress in Dark Angel (192000-2002), for whom she was nominated in the Golden Globes. Honey (2003) was Honey's big screen debut. She was soon an established actor in Hollywood and has starred as several box office hits including Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and Good Luck Chuck (2007). Jessica Marie Alba, a daughter of Mark David Alba (nee Jensen) was born in Pomona California on April 28th, 1981. Her mother has Danish, Welsh, German, English and French ancestry and her paternal grandparents, born in California and both were descendants of Mexican immigrants. Joshua is her older brother. Gustavo Arellano is her third cousin. Her father was an Air Force pilot who took her family to Biloxi and Del Rio in Texas. Her return to Claremont, California when she was nine years old. Alba says that her family is a conservative, traditional, Catholic, Latin American family. She calls herself liberal and says that she was feminist at five years old.
